In the cool hills of Bannister, Old Harbour, we found the Yadel Home for Girls where house mother Teres Bradford (left) bumped elbows with Karen Watson-Pink, Corporate Communications Officer, Guardian Group Jamaica when she received over 97 shoeboxes filled with gifts, for residents of the Home. Other Guardian staff members, Fitzroy Anderson (3rd from back) and Marlene Nairne (right) joined with the girls and caregivers to ensure they had a bright Christmas. Shoebox is Guardian Group’s gift collection drive for the benefit of the less fortunate children in the communities in which we operate and is one of the core corporate social responsibility initiatives to engage staff in an activity that epitomises one of the group’s core values, serving people.
